Participation and assumption of risk

In consideration for being permitted to participate in an InMotion X1 electric-unicycle demonstration, I understand that riding, handling, mounting, dismounting and being near an operating electric unicycle involve inherent and other risks. These risks may include falls, loss of control, collisions, surface hazards, equipment malfunction, serious bodily injury, disability, property damage and death.

I knowingly and voluntarily accept all risks connected with my participation, whether known or unknown and whether caused by my actions, the actions of others, conditions at the event or the ordinary negligence of a released party, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Safety commitments and participant representations

I confirm that I am physically and mentally able to participate, that I will disclose any condition that could affect safe participation, and that I am not impaired by alcohol, drugs, medication, fatigue or another condition that could make participation unsafe.

I will wear a helmet and any additional protective equipment required by event staff. I will follow all instructions, remain within the designated demonstration area, ride within my ability, stop immediately when directed and not permit another person to use a demo unit assigned to me.

I understand that InMotion staff may refuse or end my participation at any time for safety, operational or other reasonable concerns. I accept responsibility for damage caused by my intentional misconduct or reckless disregard of safety instructions.

Release and covenant not to sue

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I release and agree not to sue InMotion Technologies Co., Ltd., its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, dealers, employees, contractors and representatives, together with the event organizer, property owner, community host, sponsors and volunteers (collectively, the Released Parties), for claims arising from or relating to my participation in the demonstration, including claims based on a Released Party's ordinary negligence.

This release applies to me and to my heirs, estate, personal representatives and assigns. It does not release conduct that applicable law does not permit to be released.

Indemnity and emergency care

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I agree to defend, indemnify and hold the Released Parties harmless from third-party claims resulting from my intentional misconduct, reckless conduct, violation of event rules or unauthorized use of equipment.

If emergency care is reasonably considered necessary, I authorize event personnel to contact emergency services. I understand that the Released Parties do not guarantee medical assistance and that I remain responsible for medical and transportation costs not otherwise covered.

Electronic signature, privacy and term

I have had the opportunity to read this agreement and ask questions. My typed signature and electronic submission are intended to have the same force as a handwritten signature. This agreement applies to the X1 demonstration identified in my registration record.

InMotion may retain the signed waiver record for one year after signature for event administration, safety, legal and compliance purposes, subject to applicable law and the published privacy policy.
